The goal of this program is to improve management of ana phylaxis, disclosure and reporting of medical errors, and management of common issues in the emergency department with creative techniques. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Recognize signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis. 2. Differentiate anaphylactic reactions from anaphylactoid reactions. 3. Devise methods of disclosing medical errors that comport with medical ethics. 4. Use items found in the emergency department to impro vise solutions to common issues. 5. Select techniques to help in management of minor lacerations
