The goal of this program is to improve the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric dysphagia and management of uncontrolled oral secretion in the pediatric population. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Explain how dysphagia affects pediatric feeding disorder domains. 2. Optimize use of the videofluoroscopic swallow study in children with dysphagia. 3. Assess effectiveness of the Penetration-Aspiration Scale based on data. 4. Use glycopyrrolate in the management of pediatric patients with sialorrhea. 5. Administer pyridostigmine in pediatric patients with sialorrhea who are experiencing adverse effects following botulinum toxin injection.
