The goal of this program is to improve management of perinatal and postpartum hypertension (HTN). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Identify the threshold for diagnosis and treatment of chronic hypertension in pregnant and postpartum patients. 2. Implement use of blood pressure measurements for patients with high-risk pregnancy in the home setting. 3. Use shorter courses or lower-dose regimens of magnesium sulfate in postpartum patients without eclampsia.
