Pharmacology of Non-opioid Analgesics

Pharmacology of Non-opioid Analgesics

Pain is universal. It is a subjective experience that can be either acute or chronic. An estimated 1 in every 5 American adults is affected by chronic pain on a daily basis, leading to hundreds of billions of dollars of lost productivity and tens of billions in drug costs (Yong et al., 2022).
