The goal of this program is to improve the diagnosis and management of pituitary abnormalities and the use of various forms of inhalant allergen immunotherapy. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Describe the different manifestations of functional pituitary adenomas. 2. Screen for adrenal insufficiency in patients with pituitary adenomas. 3. Differentiate Cushing disease from polycystic ovary syndrome. 4. Outline the different scheduling protocols for allergen immunotherapy injections. 5. Compare the advantages and disadvantages of subcutaneous and sublingual immunotherapy for inhalant allergens.
