Pott puffy tumor is a subperiosteal abscess due to associated frontal skull osteomyelitis. This usually occurs as a rare complication of frontal sinusitis or trauma to the forehead, that presents with tender forehead swelling associated with fever, headaches, nasal discharge, or symptoms of increased intracranial pressure. Including this in the differential diagnosis is important, as early diagnosis and treatment are crucial for a successful outcome.
