The goal of this program is to improve the prevention and management of atherosclerosis and cancer therapy-related cardiac dysfunction (CTRCD). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Encourage patients with atherosclerosis to join cardiac rehabilitation programs. 2. Prescribe an appropriate statin at an appropriate dose. 3. Counsel patients with atherosclerotic heart disease about the importance of dietary modifications. 4. Diagnose CTRCD. 5. Initiate appropriate intervention for CTRCD.
