The goal of this program is to improve treatment of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and management of pericarditis and myo carditis. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinicians will be better able to: 1. Explain the difference between the G protein and the F protein in the structure of RSV. 2. Cite results of studies assessing effectiveness of the RSV vaccine in older adults. 3. Compare the efficacy of the Pfizer RSV vaccine in severe vs milder RSV. 4. Differentiate among diagnostic markers in pericarditis. 5. Analyze the impact of COVID-19 vaccination on the preva lence of pericarditis and myocarditis.
