Coronary artery disease (CAD) is the most common cause of mortality among adults in the United States. While common, it is preventable. CAD and its risk factors can be screened, identified, and treated early. Education and counseling can also help mitigate risk. This activity will review and update the current recommendations by utilizing the most recent systematic reviews and highlight the interprofessional team’s role in managing patients with risk factors for CAD.
