This knowledge based live virtual training is for pharmacist preceptors to stay abreast on updates in clinical teaching strategies, address relevant controversies or knowledge gaps in experiential/residency training requirements, and provide a method for current and potential preceptors to obtain required CE hours needed for professional licensure. ASHP and ACPE accreditation standards and results from the residency program s annual preceptor self-assessment will be used to guide topic selection for the preceptor series. From a preceptor s perspective, the ongoing series will enhance awareness of tools, strategies and best practices to allow for optimal training and teaching.
