The purpose of the live virtual training is to address the knowledge gap relating to the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of psychological and psychiatric disorders by the interprofessional healthcare team. The gap is based the changes in guidelines for the delivery of evidence-based psychotherapy and psychopharmacological interventions. Presentations will be knowledge-based and given by in-house speakers. The lecture series provides evidence-based information on mental and behavioral health disorders, psychosocial interventions and psychological/psychiatric treatment and will update the interprofessional healthcare team on recent advances in the field of mental health. The Grand Round allows for the free scientific exchange of ideas. Information and opinions offered by the speakers will help audience members derive conclusions based on available scientific information given during the lecture. The training combines didactic and scenario-based activities to increase the knowledge levels and create a more consistent knowledge base across mental health providers. Participants will be provided an evaluation at the end of the series.
