Sarcopenia most commonly affects elderly and sedentary populations and patients who have comorbidities that affect the musculoskeletal system or impair physical activity. This activity reviews the evaluation and treatment of sarcopenia and highlights the role of the interprofessional team in the care of patients with this condition.
