The goal of this program is to improve the management of sedation in the neuroscience intensive care unit (neuro ICU), diagnosis of potential cerebral hydrodynamic dysfunction, and management of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Cite Brain Trauma Foundation guidelines on control of intracra nial pressure in patients with traumatic brain injury. 2. Administer benzodiazepines to control status epilepticus seizures. 3. Use nimodipine to improve glymphatic function. 4. Explain outcomes of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Qual ity report assessing efficacy of continuous positive airway pressure. 5. Differentiate among new metrics that assess OSA
