The goal of this program is to improve the prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STI) using doxycycline postexposure prophylaxis (DOXY-PEP). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Employ a guideline-based approach for STI screening in various age groups. 2. Prescribe pre- and postexposure prophylaxis regimens to populations at high risk for STIs. 3. Screen for chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis in high-risk groups.
