Sexually Transmitted Infections: An Update on the Recognition and Management of Common STI Syndromes provides an update on the rapidly changing epidemiology, diagnostic and therapeutic considerations for the most commonly encountered sexually transmitted infections (STI) in clinical practice. Important changes in the clinical management of chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis and herpes simplex infection in adults and adolescents are highlighted, along with other clinically relevant updates from the 2021 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Sexually Transmitted Infection Guidelines.
