The goal of this program is to improve management of gleno humeral instability, and management of spinal deformity. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Identify patients at increased risk for glenoid bone loss (GBL). 2. Use diagnostic imaging to quantify GBL. 3. Select a technique for surgical treatment of glenohumeral instability. 4. Differentiate indications for posterior column osteotomies from indications for 3-column osteotomies. 5. Choose medications to improve bone quality in patients undergoing spine surgery.
