Pediatric Grand Rounds is a weekly program scheduled for 10 months per year. The goal is to present a broad range of topics geared toward the pediatric general practitioner. New advances in pediatrics and medicine occur every day. Knowledge gaps exist because it is not feasible for any practitioner to keep track of all the advances in each pediatric specialty. Speakers from these specialties address these gaps by discussing standard of care and new advances. Also, many different treatments exist for particular diagnoses. Speakers from many specialties address evidence based best practices. Each year a broad range of speakers from many pediatric specialists are asked to speak about many of the most prominent topics in their specialties. Topics are guided by audience feedback throughout the year and from previous years.
