The goal of this program is to improve management of skin cancer. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Examine the epidemiology associated with various types of skin cancers. 2. Identify the histologic and clinical presentations associated with common skin cancers. 3. Assign risk and staging to skin cancers. 4. Compare efficacy of surgical treatments available for patients with basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma. 5. Incorporate appropriate nonsurgical treatments for patients with skin cancer.
