This course will provide up-to-date information and guidance on managing and diagnosing RLS during pregnancy and lactation, in children, and in the demented elderly. The fourth presentation will provide the rationale and guidance for iron supplementation in RLS. Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to: Recognize and treat RLS during pregnancy and puerperium; Better understand childhood RLS diagnosis and be able to manage the symptoms more appropriately; Gain insight into the consequences of untreated RLS in older adults with dementia, and how to identify and manage RLS in this population; and Better understand role of iron supplementation and provide practical guidance in the broader management of RLS.
