The goal of this program is to improve diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders in the pediatric population after COVID-19 infection and management of seizures and epilepsy in children. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Assess the role of various contributing factors in delayed sleep phase syndrome. 2. Use actigraphy to assess sleep patterns. 3. Optimize use of cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia. 4. Administer valproic acid for Jeavons syndrome in pediatric patients. 5. List guideline recommendations from the American Academy of Neurology for management of new-onset seizures in children.
