The goal of this program is to improve the management of pediatric sleep disorders and treatment of bronchiolitis in the pediatric population. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Compare adenoid tonsillectomy vs watchful waiting in pediatric patients with mild to moderate sleep apnea. 2. Differentiate central sleep apnea from an obstructive event. 3. Optimize diagnosis of narcolepsy in children. 4. Explain the effect of albuterol in children with bronchiolitis. 5. Cite evidence regarding use of high-flow nasal cannula in children with bronchiolitis.
