After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:Screen patients undergoing planned surgery for S aureus colonization when indicated.Prescribe preoperative S aureus decolonization therapy to minimize surgical site infections.Select the best prophylactic antibiotics for patients with a history of S aureus colonization.
