The goal of this program is to improve management of drug abuse in pediatric patients, and management of pediatric behavioral health emergencies. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Use drug screening to test for fentanyl and other synthetic opioids.
2. Recognize signs and symptoms of abuse of amphetamines.
3. Identify risk factors for behavioral health issues.
4. Select medications for chemical restraint.
5. Implement the behavioral health integration model of care.
