Supporting Veteran’s Kids after a Suicide Attempt in the Family

The purpose of this recorded, virtual presentation, for interprofessional healthcare teams, is to offer providers working with Veterans, partners and caregivers a helpful framework of child and adolescent support and resources after a suicide attempt in the family. Presenters will share key considerations in talking to children after a family member suicide attempt with adaptations for different ages and helpful resources clinicians can share with their clients including Talking to Kids (T2K) About Suicide psychoeducation booklet for parents and caregivers.
