Thyroid cytopathology depends on a multidisciplinary diagnostic approach, particularly when dealing with difficult, rare and challenging cases. The session will use a power point-based presentation of challenging and rare entities encountered on thyroid FNA. The speakers will discuss the cases in an unknown interactive fashion and will follow a multimodal approach when arriving at the final FNA diagnosis (such as clinical history, imaging findings, molecular and other ancillary tests, etc.) The case presentation will conclude with a short discussion of the final histopathologic diagnosis.
