Targeting the CD40L Pathway in Transplantation: New Tricks for an Old Dog – Mandy Ford, PhD As a result of participation in this educational activity, members of the healthcare team will: Discuss clinically relevant concepts of the role of T cells in mediating transplant rejection. Explain clinically relevant concepts of the role of the CD154/CD40/CD11b pathway in contributing to transplant rejection. Identify new immunosuppressive drugs that are designed to target the CD154 pathway and thereby limit transplant rejection.
