The goal of this program is to improve diagnosis and management of thyroid cancer and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). After hearing and assimilating this pro gram, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Identify ultrasonography characteristics of thyroid lesions to determine their risk for malignancy. 2. Stage thyroid cancer based on patient and tumor characteristics. 3. Use information from genetic testing to predict likelihood of response to thyroid cancer therapies. 4. Utilize noninvasive tests to predict risk for fibrosis in patients with MASLD. 5. Develop strategies for management of MASLD depending on degree of fibrosis.
