To Bill or Not to Bill: Preventing Fraud

The purpose of this live virtual knowledge based continuing education program targeted at pharmacy to define fraud, waste, and abuse as well as review federal laws relevant to healthcare fraud. Healthcare providers have a limited understanding of laws surrounding fraud. Providers have a responsibility to understand these laws and apply them to their practices to prevent committing fraud themselves and identify and report others who commit fraud. The outcome of this offering is that providers will be able to more accurately document patient care activities to prevent fraud and identify cases of healthcare fraud
