Tobacco Cessation for Women Veterans (enduring)

Tobacco Cessation for Women Veterans (enduring)

Currently in the US, women Veterans are more likely to use tobacco than civilian women. In VHA, women Veterans are more likely to have a current tobacco use disorder than men Veterans and female smokers are less likely to stop smoking than male smokers. This recorded, knowledge-based webinar will identify drivers of gender-based tobacco health disparities and will share women Veterans’ preferences for tobacco cessation interventions.
Participants, including healthcare teams, will have an increased awareness of women Veterans’ specific and diverse needs for tobacco cessation and will improve their clinical skills related to women Veterans’ tobacco cessation.
