The goal of this program is to improve the detection and management of adrenal masses and prostate cancers, medical assessment and surgical management of renal masses, and innovative approaches to training urology residents. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Evaluate for various types of functional adrenal masses.
2. Detect prostatic disease on histopathologic examination.
3. Quantify multifocal prostate cancers as seen in needle biopsy specimens and transurethral resection of the prostate.
4. Compare outcomes of open and robotic partial nephrectomy.
5. Devise a plan for improving surgical training programs in urology.
