1. Utilize computer-assisted navigation for preoperative planning of shoulder arthroplasty.
2. Select the appropriate type of shoulder arthroplasty for individual patients.
3. Choose the most appropriate glenoid and humeral implants for patients requiring shoulder arthroplasty.
4. Consider newer techniques for shoulder arthroplasty as they become available.
