The purpose of this series of recorded brief trainings is designed to give VHA providers and healthcare teams, a foundational understanding of key components of care for transgender and gender diverse Veterans, including VHA policy and best clinical practices. GAP: Most clinicians have had little or no education in transgender health as part of their professional graduate training. This knowledge-based virtual training program is designed to educate the inexperienced VHA employees and healthcare teams who have not had a transgender or gender diverse patient before. Provider exposure to this training series will help to ensure that each Veteran receives the care they need and deserve.
