The goal of this program is to improve management of traumatic liver injury, management of pelvic fracture, and awareness of updates in trauma management. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Relate blood pressures to outcomes in patients with liver injury. 2. Select an imaging modality for assessment of pelvic fracture. 3. Use preperitoneal pelvic packing to control hemorrhage in pelvic fracture. 4. Recognize interventions that reduce mortality in patients with traumatic brain injury. 5. Choose a mode of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation for patients with chest injuries.
