Treating Hepatitis C Among People Who Use Drugs

The Hepatitis C Virus is an RNA virus that is not vaccine preventable and is the most common blood-borne infection in the US. The majority of people exposed to the virus will develop chronic infection and it has evolved into an intergenerational epidemic; baby boomers and young people who inject drugs are the most afflicted. This webinar aims to show providers the treatment techniques when working with a patient with co-morbid SUD and HCV.
