The goal of this program is to improve administration of trunk blocks and management of difficult conversations. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Describe the nervous anatomy as it relates to the administration of trunk blocks. 2. Review risks associated with various trunk blocks. 3. Select appropriate trunk blocks based on the surgical area of focus. 4. Utilize liposomal bupivacaine to reduce postoperative opioid administration and improve patient recovery. 5. Implement strategies to navigate difficult conversations with patients and administrative personnel.
