Update from 2023 Multidisciplinary Head and Neck Cancer Update, Part 2

The goal of this program is to improve management of early-stage laryngeal cancer, risk stratification of early-stage laryngeal cancer, and management of aggressive non-melanoma skin cancers. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Relate choice of treatment to functional voice outcomes in patients with laryngeal cancer. 2. Identify factors that signal a positive prognosis in patients with larynx cancer. 3. Use nonstandard radiation therapies in patients with larynx cancer. 4. Apply the eighth edition of American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) and the Brigham and Women s Hospital tumor staging systems to patients with cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma. 5. Select patients with cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma for treatment with adjuvant radiation based on tumor staging.
