The goal of this program is to improve management of Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia (WM) and management of metastatic brain disease. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Recognize the diagnostic characteristics of WM. 2. Compare and contrast traditional chemotherapy with immunotherapy for management of WM. 3. Prepare for adverse effects in patients receiving immunotherapy. 4. Identify patients at increased risk for metastatic brain cancer. 5. Select immunotherapy drugs for treatment of patients with leptomeningeal disease.
