The goal of this program is to improve management of human papillomavirus infection-associated oropharynx cancer (HPV-OPC) with de-intensification therapies, management of loco-regionally recurrent OPC, and management of cutaneous head and neck melanoma. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Anticipate increased toxicity with use of concurrent chemotherapy. 2. Identify patients suitable for treatment with intensitymodulated radiation therapy. 3. Select diagnostic tests for detection of recurrence of HPV-OPC. 4. Recognize patients with melanoma at increased risk for recurrence. 5. Use adjuvant therapies to improve survival rates in patients with melanoma.
