After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Match treatment choices for breast cancer to the genetic profile of the tumor. 2. Explain the rationale behind the use of immune checkpoint inhibitors for treatment of breast cancer. 3. Distinguish among different subtypes of breast cancer based on immune characteristics. 4. Use appropriate immune checkpoint inhibitors for the management of triple-negative breast cancer. 5. Discuss the role of biomarker testing for patients with triple-negative breast cancer.
