Update on CAR-T Therapy: Toxicities and Management

The goal of this program is to improve management of patients with cancer with chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Anticipate neurotoxicity and cytokine release syndrome after treatment with CAR T cell therapies. 2. Choose B cell maturation antigen-targeted therapies for treatment of multiple myeloma. 3. Identify patients with lymphoma for whom autologous stem cell transplantation is the preferred treatment. 4. Differentiate B cell maturation antigen-targeted therapies from CD19 CAR T cell therapies. 5. Select a lymphodepletion regimen for patients with relapsed or refractory Hodgkin lymphoma.
