The goal of this program is to improve the use of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) pathways in urological, gynecological and colorectal surgeries. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Elaborate on interventions common to ERAS pathways.
2. Apply ERAS principles to urologic surgeries.
3. Implement current guidelines for ERAS pathways for gynecologic surgeries.
4. Recognize indications and contraindications for ERAS pathways for colorectal surgery.
5. Incorporate current evidence-based recommendations for bowel preparation and fluid management for colorectal surgeries.
