The goal of this program is to improve management of advanced thyroid cancer (TC), parotid tumors, and metastatic head and neck cancers (HNCs). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Identify the checkpoint inhibitors targeted by drug therapy in the management of advanced TC.
2. Assess risks and benefits associated with each novel drug therapy for treatment of advanced TC.
3. Recognize signs of malignancy in patients with parotid tumors.
4. Perform the appropriate surgical modalities for patients with different types of parotid tumors.
5. Employ immunotherapy in an evidence-based fashion to treat HNCs.
