Update on Leukemia, B-Cell Lymphoma, and CSF Liquid Biopsy for CNS Tumors in Pediatrics

The goal of this program is to improve the management of chronic myeloid leukemia, management of B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and detection of pediatric central nervous system (CNS) tumors with the use of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) liquid biopsy. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Individualize frontline treatment for patients with chronic myeloid leukemia. 2. Analyze the benefits and risks of discontinuing tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy after achieving complete molecular response. 3. Compare current treatment options for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. 4. Consider central nervous system prophylaxis in patients with high-grade B-cell lymphoma. 5. Justify the use of CSF liquid biopsy for detecting pediatric CNS tumors.
