The goal of this program is to improve personalization of care for patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and uptake of telehealth. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Distinguish among the structural and physiological factors that contribute to the development of OSA.
2. Evaluate the feasibility of a creating a polygenic risk score for OSA.
3. Assess risk for cardiovascular and metabolic disease among different subtypes of OSA.
4. Consider telehealth as a means of reducing patient and provider costs related to treatment of OSA.
5. Increase compliance with continuous positive airway pressure therapy through use of eHealth interventions.
