The goal of this program is to improve the prevention and treatment of ischemic stroke, detection and management of subarachnoid hemorrhage, and neurocritical care of patients with hemorrhagic stroke. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Recognize the role of perfusion imaging in stroke management. 2. Implement the recommended protocol for patients with suspected stroke. 3. Select appropriate long-term management strategies for older patients with aneurysms. 4. Diagnose cerebral cavernous malformations based on the presence of specific mutations. 5. Apply the current principles and practices in neurocritical care.
