The goal of this program is to improve diagnosis and management of lung cancer using interventional pulmonology, delivery of tobacco cessation treatment, and management of metastatic lung cancer using radiation therapy. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Identify recent advances in screening modalities for lung cancer. 2. Cite the benefits and limitations of different ablation techniques used for the management of lung cancer. 3. Develop strategies for delivery of tobacco cessation treatment for patients with cancer and survivors of cancer. 4. Delineate the role of histologic and oligometastatic subtype in the likelihood of response to consolidation therapy. 5. Appraise recent studies investigating the use of ablative approaches for management of oligometastatic lung cancer.
