The goal of this program is to improve management of patients in internal medicine practices. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinicians will be able to:
1. Choose antihypertensive drugs based on patient risk for diabetes mellitus.
2. Evaluate and treat patients with secondary hypertension and resistant hypertension.
3. Develop strategies for management of adrenal incidentalomas, tapering of antidepressants, and screening for prostate cancer.
