The goal of this program is to improve voice management of vocal performers and improve management of sleep disorders in preoperative patients. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Recognize terminology commonly used to discuss singing to aid in treatment of voice dysfunction in singers.
2. Evaluate a singer’s voice to determine area(s) of impact.
3. Treat acute and chronic dysphonia.
4. Identify potential causes of OSA.
5. Analyze evidence-based data to select appropriate treatment for OSA.
