The goal of this program is to improve management of corneal conditions using keratoplasty procedures. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Identify characteristics of the cornea that make it amenable to transplantation. 2. Choose between penetrating or anterior lamellar kerato plasty procedures. 3. Determine the optimal sizing of the donor corneal graft. 4. Select the appropriate endothelial keratoplasty procedure based on patient and surgeon factors. 5. Summarize the potential benefits of corneal endothelial cell injection therapy.
