The goal of this program is to improve management of urinary tract infections (UTIs) in children. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Recognize the variances associated with the clinical definition of a UTI. 2. Weigh benefits vs risks associated with timing of antibiotic treatment for UTIs. 3. Apply current clinical guidelines regarding screening for vesicoureteral reflux among children with UTIs.
